NEWS: New music collaboration, 'Other Voices, Other Rooms' to stream live online from Lighthouse, Poole.

Other Voices, Other Rooms features a unique collaboration with renowned performers Pete Lockett on percussion and Peter-John Vettese on keyboards. Recorded live as a duo in the Theatre at Lighthouse, Poole’s centre for the arts, the show is their first performance together as part of their Artist-in-Residence programme and the live streamed experience kicks off what will be a dynamic and energetic series that will go on to feature guest performers from many diverse areas of the arts. 
 
Masterminded by Executive Producer Paul Cameron, the show features cutting edge visuals and stunning lighting effects.   

“With all the open space in the auditorium to play with, it gave us an amazing opportunity to blur the boundaries in every aspect of the production,” says Paul. “It meant we could do things with the sound and lighting that would not otherwise have been possible and really stretch what could be achieved in the Theatre.   

“The current situation means we have to think again about how we approach live performance so we have created our own online platform to provide an exceptional audience experience and to find new ways to generate an income for performers, venues and all the people that are needed to bring a project like this to life.” 
 
Captured by a twelve-strong camera film crew and dedicated multi-track sound recordist, the production goes live on Friday 23 October in all its digital glory, including a special VIP package where viewers can see an exclusive interview with legendary drummer Bill Bruford of Yes and King Crimson fame, as well as have an informal ‘virtual green room’ experience with the artists afterwards. 
 
“It was a joy and a privilege to host this astonishing collaboration,” says Lighthouse Chief Executive Elspeth McBain. “The success of the residency and the performance it culminated in is not only a testament to the phenomenal talents of Pete and Peter, but also to the skills of our technical team and the flexibility of Lighthouse as a creative space.”
