Born in Leeds, West Yorkshire but currently residing in Aberdeen, Scotland, Jay found his passion for writing came at the most unusual of times. Whilst at home fighting the symptoms of Coronavirus, Jay began to reflect on the pains of growing up and began putting pen to paper and found the words began to flow.
Being more notably known for raising money for charities such as Cancer Research, BHF and the British Red Cross in a Take That tribute band, this would be the first time Jay would enter the writing stage in his 23 years of experience in music.
Armed with a repertoire of written songs, Jay is ready to take the live circuit by storm when shows are allowed to continue, but for now “Someone to Hold While You Cry” is out now on all streaming platforms.
