+ VERY SPECIAL GUESTS TO BE ANNOUNCED...
TICKETS ON SALE - THIS FRIDAY HERE
Commemorating three-decades of storming rock’n’roll shows in the North, the Academy are very pleased to announce a special celebratory show in the new year from a band who have earned a special place in its history.
On 28th May 2021, the venue will welcome Welsh indie-rock mainstays: FEEDER.
Having blown-away crowds on its turf some 12 times since their formation, The Academy has been a reliable haunt and regular pit-stop for Feeder at all stages of their twisting career.
From their incendiary first visit as a fledgling grunge upstarts on the Kerrang Twist Tour of 1996 (supporting Lodestar and Crazy Gods), to taking the stage as bonafide world-conquering arena slayers on the ‘Tallulah’ tour of 2018; Feeder have proven themselves time-after-time and are established favourites with the Academy crowd.
Returning to the venue in 2021, expect a roller-coaster ride down memory lane with a set packed with the innumerable anthems that have lined their extraordinary career. With 10 celebrated studio albums under their belt to date, expect highlights such as ‘Just A Day’ to ‘Buck Rogers’, ‘Shatter’, ‘Just The Way I’m Feeling’, ‘Come Back Around’ and many more that continue to inspire the masses and endure the ages.
Alongside a headline set from FEEDER, the band will be joined by some very special guests on the night - to be announced in due course…
Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10AM from The Manchester Academy Website: https://www.manchesteracademy.
