There’s nothing I love more than a good sci-fi thriller with action and comedy and this book has them all. Author, Carr does a great job of rolling up almost all our conspiracy theories and bundling them into one big mockery of the human race. It is excellent reading that had me laughing throughout the entire story. It definitely will make readers think and question who exactly is running the show.

I must admit to looking up the meaning of the word Sheeple, which I had no knowledge of before; for those, like me who have only just come across the term, the meaning is “People compared to sheep in being docile, foolish, or easily led”.

Readers who appreciate comical satire about conspiracy theories and/or those readers who are sick and tired of conspiracy theories or theorists, will enjoy this book, it definitely won’t disappoint.

This story is a fun look at the impact the internet can have on spreading false theories in the world.  The author has taken our current world, decided it is already ridiculous and turns it into a great story.

Hero, down-to-earth Jim, discovers he is far from what he believes himself to be and that the world is not at all what it appears to be; the world is as the conspiracy theorists see it.

The story depicts just how much trouble a small group of people can cause in the most hilarious ways; readers will enjoy finding out. All Jim wants is to get answers to all the strange events that are happening.

The well-developed characters support the crazy world of conspiracy theorists and the plot is taken from our present-day culture of internet incongruity.

Readers will discover and find it funny that everything we think we know is decided by a small group telling us what to think!

Author, Carr has a remarkable sense of humour and the capability to see the extreme in the banal. He never fails to deliver and does so with incisive and highly observant wit and a wounding but never spiteful humour that at times may leave readers breathless and crying with laughter.

Readers will finish the book asking what if those people in their bedrooms who post conspiracy theories on YouTube were right all along.
