5…4…3…2…1… BLAST OFF!
Check your oxygen,
adjust your space suit and buckle up for the race to send the first man to the
moon.
A galactic treat lands
at Theatr Clwyd this September! Following 5-star rave reviews and an
international tour where it visited 20 countries and was seen by more than
19,000 people, One Small Step is all set for another fast and
furious trip to the moon.
This Oxford Playhouse
production, directed by Toby Hulse (Bath Time, Bed Time, Tea Time),
and written by David Hastings, recounts the race between the United States and
the Soviet Union to send the first man to the moon.
In 60 thrilling
minutes, two actors conjure more than 40 characters and 50 years of history
using simple household objects, bringing to life the history of this amazing
exploration and human endeavour into the unknown.
Full of emotion, epic
achievements and humour, this production, which has delighted audiences from
Azerbaijan to Sri Lanka, makes a welcome visit to Mold.
This inventive, funny
and moving show is suitable for children aged 7+.
One Small Step comes
to Theatr Clwyd (Theatr Emlyn Williams) on Fri 6 & Sat 7 September (Fri
4.30pm, Sat 10.30am & 1.30pm). Tickets priced £6 are available from the Theatre Clwyd Box Office on 01352 344101 or at www.theatrclwyd.com
