BOOK REVIEW: Our Own Correspondent.

TITLE: Our Own Correspondent
AUTHOR: James Hereward
PUBLISHED BY: Cranthorpe Millner

Mystical places with strange sounding names such as Larentium, Macorro, Chaverr and Larence lure one into this enjoyable imaginary world of Erasmus Grey.

He is a journalist with a quest and begins an expedition to learn more about the rumours which are circulating about a war which is imminent.  He is eager to bear testimony about it and circulate what he finds to the people back home. But it is not as easy as he thinks. There is no media such as newspapers or similar where he can send his reports to. On top of everything else, no-one trusts him and he is suspected of being a spy.

He meets people along the way, Lina, Treani and Rhoanda who are sympathetic to his cause but there are people who want the truth withheld and do not want people to know the truth about what is going on as they have a lot invested in the war.

Travel with Erasmus Grey into this enjoyable imaginative make-believe world of espionage and discover a different world where nothing seems as it is.
