THE GOOD LIFE

The classic TV series live on stage

The classic 1970s British sitcom and national treasure TV series The Good Life is reimagined on stage in a hilarious stage production starring comedian Rufus Hound.

Remember the Goods – Tom and Barbara? Who decide to change their life and become selfsufficient? They go back to basics whilst next-door neighbours Margo and Jerry Leadbetter try and keep the Surbiton status quo – with hilarious results!

The Good Life ran from 1975-1978 on BBC 1 and was written by Bob Larbey and John Esmonde. The all-star cast included Richard Briers, Felicity Kendall, Penelope Keith and Paul Eddington.

Rufus Hound (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie) is an award-winning actor, presenter and comedian, starring as Tom Good. Also starring is Preeya Kalidas (Bend it Like Beckham, EastEnders) as Margo, Dominic Rowan (The Crown) as Jerry and Sally Tatum (Present Laughter, Miss Austen Regrets) as Barbara.

The Good Life stage production has been adapted and directed by Jeremy Sams.
