This is a delightful story aimed at pre-school children and those up to 7 years old.

Elvin is a clumsy little elf who rides with Santa in his sleigh on Christmas Eve. His job is to help Santa deliver toys to all the boys and girls around the world. Unfortunately, Elvin is sometimes thoughtless and often gets into trouble.

The story takes place on Christmas Eve and Milly Mouse and her older brother Timmy are getting ready for Christmas, but Timmy declares that he no longer believes in Santa. Once they are asleep Santa and Elvin visit their bedroom when Elvin falls over with a bang and wakes Timmy up. When Timmy sees Santa and Elvin he is unsure whether he is dreaming or not.

The words and terminology used throughout the book are ideal for youngsters; there are no lengthy words or words which young children might not understand.

This is a delightful short story, ideal in length for youngsters who will enjoy it being read to them on Christmas Eve; additionally it would be perfect for a Christmas Eve box.

The book is beautifully presented with superb attention to detail; large colourful illustrations are on every other page, ideal for youngsters to become absorbed in whilst the story is being read to them.

The book is attractively illustrated with eye-catching colours and lively characters. The book is a compact size making it manageable for any child with small hands to hold. Plus, it has easy-to-slide pages which make it more practical for small hands eagerly wanting to turn over to the next part of the story to handle. Additionally, the wipe-clean front and back covers are an extra bonus, ideal for parents reading it to children with sticky fingers.
