A musical revue starring Martin Kaye and his band
Written by Chris Burgess
Musical Arrangements by Andy Collyer
Featuring songs by Elton John and Bernie Taupin

Elton John: It's A Little Bit Funny charts the incredible story of Elton John's rise and fall (and rise again) as one of the most successful singer/songwriters of all time. It also tells the tale of one extraordinary night in Las Vegas when Martin Kaye bumps into the man himself and happens to spend the evening with him. What follows is a night of confessions, anecdotes, jokes and fabulous songs.

Martin Kaye (star of Million Dollar Quartet) is the biggest Elton John fan ever, so is ideally placed to play Elton's greatest songs and enthral the audience about this unforgettable celebrity encounter.

Bringing to the stage his distinct showmanship, musical flair, odd socks, and a palpable energy beyond anything you've ever seen, Manchester-born Martin Kaye is an odd-sock-wearing pianist, singer, songwriter and all-round show-man. Best known for his knockout performances as “Jerry Lee Lewis” in the hit Broadway, West End and Las Vegas show ’Million Dollar Quartet’, Martin has recorded four albums, and has been touring internationally for over a decade, sharing his love of music with the world.

Musical Arrangements by Andy Collyer
Direction and Choreography by Chris Whittaker

Charting a century of Jewish Cinema in one show - from shtetl to stardom - and featuring classic songs, including Putting on the Ritz, Don't Rain on my Parade, Tradition, Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?, My Yiddishe Momme, Theme from 'Exodus', Hava Nagila, California Here We Come, If You Knew Susie, Wild About Harry, Cheek To Cheek, Second Hand Rose, Toot, Toot, Tootsie!, Mammy, The American Dream, God Bless America and many more...

The Jews of Hollywood invented the 'American Dream', coming from shtetls and ending up in Beverly Hills mansions. This show tells stories of ambition and sacrifice. What was the price paid for assimilation? How did the Jews of Hollywood confront anti-Semitism? How did the Holocaust change their depiction of Jews on screen? How badly hit were they by the notorious blacklisting of the 1950s? And what caused the rebirth of Jewish cinema in the 1960s, giving rise to stars like Barbra Streisand, Woody Allen and Bette Midler?

Casting and further creative team to be announced
