Waterside ticks ALL the boxes for a magical festive season
Waterside in Sale, Trafford will be embracing the upcoming festive season with theatre, comedy, family shows, plus Cosgrove Hall Exhibition Frame by Frame. Waterside Gift Shop will be open selling stunning arts and crafts by local artists, and ‘Sup Bar will be serving a range of Christmassy drinks and snacks.
Mr Popper’s Penguins

Puppets, penguins, packing crates and pure magic abound in this phenomenally popular and successful production of Mr Popper’s Penguins which returns to Manchester this Christmas. Running from Wednesday 27 November through to 31 December, acclaimed children’s theatre company Pins & Needles bring their award-winning and smash-hit show to Waterside in Sale for frost-filled, festive fun for all the family.

This December, Chris is at Waterside with his stand up, sit down book and music show telling stories and singing songs.
ComedySportz Improvised Panto

Heroes, villains, songs and silliness are guaranteed, as the gang improvise a brand new pantomime for every show using only suggestions from the audience and a sprinkling of fairy dust. Barbara Nice Festive Special

Cosgrove Hall Films Archive takes you right back to the basics of animation detailing the processes behind some of the best loved children’s animation. The exhibition will break down the most complex Cosgrove Hall series, such as The Wind in the Willows, looking at the finer details of production, with original puppets, costumes, production material and inside stories.

‘Sup Bar
Waterside’s trendy ‘Sup Bar will be open Monday to Saturday 10am til 4pm and later on event nights, serving a wide range of hot and cold drinks (including Mulled Wine and Cider!) and light snacks.
