NEWS: 53Two says au revoir but not goodbye.
53Two, has for the past three years, been a huge part of Manchester's Fringe Theatre scene. For those that know and have either worked there with a vsiting production or have been in the audience for any of the wonderful productions that have taken place between their arches, then it comes as no surprise to learn that this last Saturday the team behind the venue; headed by the indefatigable Simon Naylor, bade a fond farewell to the place they called theatrical home for the last three years.
As a company Number 9 have been regular visitors to the venue reviewing many of the productions that either the venue's in-house company MAP (Manchester Actors' Platform) or visiting companies have produced there and we have always been guaranteed a very warm welcome. On behalf of all my team, and of course myself, I would like to thank not just Simon Naylor, but those who have been working closely with him throughout the tenure, Alexandra Maxwell, David Howell, et al.
It has been an honour and an absolute pleasure getting to know you all and we look forward to coming along to 53Two's new start wherever and whenever that may be.... this is au revoir and not goodbye!
