NEWS: West End revival of The Pillowman postponed until 2021
The long-awaited and anticipated revival of Martin McDonaugh's The Pillowman which was due to open at The Duke Of York's Theatre in London this summer, has, due to the pandemic, now been postponed until 2021. New dates have yet to be confirmed.
However the play will still retain the lead castings of both Aaron Taylort-Johnson (Kick-Ass, Avengers, Age Of Ultron) and Steve Pemberton (The League Of Gentlemen, Benidorm), and will be directed by Matthew Dunster (Hangmen, A Very Vety Dark Matter).
Producers said that "Whilst we are naturally disappointed that The Pillowman can't go ahead this summer, we are fully committed to realising this new production in the near future. We have an extraordinary cast and creative team and can't wait to bring this new vision of the play to audiences."
