Girls With Guile & Siren Entertainment Present
“In Her Own Words”

To celebrate International Women’s Day, Girls With Guile, a creative collective of female artists, have combined their talents to bring you, “In Her Own Words” - an empowering, inspiring and spine-tingling variety show from March 5 - March 8, 2020, at Media City’s Footlight’s Theatre, Salford.

With funding from Arts Council England, the project will launch it’s opening night after 6-months of planning and preparation.

“The creative process behind this production has been an eye-opening, emotional rollercoaster for all the ladies involved. Sharing our personal stories has inspired, empowered and bonded each and every one of us together and we are very excited to open this experience to an audience. In Her Own Words is a smorgasbord of honest, unfiltered, no holds barred biographies from real women.” said Leigh Harper, Girls With Guile        co-founder.

Exploring topics that are heartbreaking, gut-wrenching and pant wetting, Girls With Guile               will        be telling captivating stories of the female experience through movement, spoken word and comedy. With eight new and emerging creatives who have each developed an individual, original piece, the two-hour show is set to take its audience on a whirlwind journey of laughs, tears and fist-pumping “HELL YEAH!”s.

As there will be four performances spanning across four days, Girls With Guile     have ensured that their shows are both inclusive and accessible:

“We are so happy to be delivering a BSL        (British Sign Language) performance on Saturday afternoon [2 pm] as well as hosting a free pop-up creche               for little Wonder Women and feminist              brothers alike”, said Eloise Bonney, Girls With Guide               co-founder. There will also be concession     ticket prices for students and senior citizens.

“In Her Own Words” will run from Thursday, March 5th - Sunday, 5th March 2020 at  Footlights Theatre School & Academy, Media City, Salford.
