NEWS: New play, 'Frozen Peas In An Old Tin Can' tackles homelessness for the GM Fringe

Frozen Peas In An Old Tin Can
Written By Joe Walsh
Frozen Peas In An Old Tin Can tells the story of Sarah, Derek and Barney who all live on the streets of Manchester together, sharing one thing in common – they are homeless. They pass their days collecting McDonald’s vouchers on the back of bus tickets, when one day it all changes..
Set in the heart of Manchester, we strive to make the play brim with working class heart and humour. Including some of the greatest Manchester songs with a special twist, the piece is also very immersive, allowing the audience to join in and talk to our three protagonists. You might even get a chance to have a bit of a sing song with them!
Since we first put on the play back in October 2018, the feedback has been incredible! Have a look at what some of our previous audience members have to say-
"Fantastically interactive, charmingly cheeky, I loved it"
"Touching, loved how even the bleakest of situations you can find, see, and feel hope"
"Damn! It was truly breath-taking!"
"Incredible! I laughed, I cried, I loved every second of it!"
We have an incredibly talented cast with us, all northern actors who are extremely passionate about bringing this project to life.

We can’t wait to see what’s next for the show, and hope to get as many people as we can to come along and see what we’ve made, were extremely proud of it, and enjoy working on it, as much as audiences enjoy watching it.

The show is on at the kings arms beer garden, 27th-28th, 2;00pm, £7, concession £5.
